Dove - I've bought things online from Plantsman Preference - thalictrum i think- they were ace plantsimage

Exams over for the weekend - might be enough time for Chicklet to stop crying before the next ones - today was not a good dayimageimageimage.

Lizzie - are you ready for foals ??image

Poor Chicklet ((hugs)) I hated exams - knew all the stuff - just knees turned to jelly and world began to swim around - passed out in one exam - tell Chicklet that whatever she did in the exam she didn't do that - it caused total chaos image

Don't know how I managed to come out of it with reasonable results and eventually a Masters - I suppose you just get used to it as you get older image

Anyway, time for Dove to doze now so sweet dreams folks - see you in the morning image

Thanks Dove - she has never been one to come out of exams with a smile - always focuses on the bits she thinks she got wrong ... but today she was completely dejected .... probably because it is her best subjectimage.  Ultimately she will be fine  - big heart, big personality - but stressful atm.

No foal, friend's horse is a gelding, but he's still interested.

Seem to have done something to my right knee, which has a bit of osteoarthritis. Gone stiff and painful.

My daughter used to be physically sick before exams. The only course she really liked, and excellent results, was her MA in English at Bordeaux University because most of it was judged on course work. She's now an English teacher, teenagers, in France.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning Forkers.

What an amazing day it was yesterday and I had the luxury of a day off work.

So, OH and myself have begun landscaping the bottom garden. I removed the turfed area the previous afternoon and we finished most of the border edges that retain soil, leaving only a small area for the path/step that had to be altered slighty to make room for a pergola post, once it comes.

The ground was leveled ithe next morning and l weed suppressant matting laid ready for another ton bag of stone chips. In the afternoon, I went to a GC with my parents to buy some bits whilst helping them choose a pot and the right compost bag for a Rhododendron they've just inherited.

In the  afternoon, I added bark to one of two areas in the border that needed it and made two log piles for insects and bugs and that was me pooped.

Oh yeah, I divided and planted out a long overdue grass into the border. Tomorrow I need to sweep up the veg plot area because I've been sawing a load of wood down there.

Have a lovely time in your gardens at some point today, everyone image

    Good morning all image

That sounds like a day well spent WS image

I've been out and padded around the garden in my dressing gown and slippers - yesterday's top temp was 24.3C and we've had the mildest night of the year so far at 12.4C  - I must sweep and tidy the terrace - I can feel some outside dining coming on image
