evening all . great day . curry tonight . OH on the way home .and we both have the weekend off yay phones not on . could be the big plant in weekend . looks good . have a good night all .
I've just discovered a new nursery - well it's not new but somehow I don't know it http://www.plantpref.co.uk/ lots of really unusual hardy plants and it's only just down the road from Bressingham - problem is it's not open on Tuesdays I shall have to go back
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Been outside all day apart from refreshments and taking girls to assorted 'things'. Loads done - digging and sorting one of the new beds I created along the fence which was just covered with bark over the winter. Separated all the 'missing anemones'. I've managed to get them out the pot I'd put them in - obviously meaning to plant them later - but didn't. I'd just stuck them in it, covered them with some compost (un-labelled) ... and still in the net bag they came in.... Not a bad rescue job, considering.
Dinner's been had - and now putting my feet up and catching up with all your activities
Enjoy your curry archie
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Just spent ages pricking the devils out of my Hordeum jubatum seed tray! Loads more to go.
we seem to have had weeks and weeks of the things flying around! I dead head mine every morning. Don't know who's garden they come from!
Back to hordeum jubatum ( just like typing big words, probably wrong but keeps me happy) - sowed a plug tray of 70, only 7 haven't germinated. Very happy.
hope you're all well and looking forward to a fantastic weekend.

I'm nominating you as Godfather Archie
We've been watching all the critters in the pond - we've got a Water Boatman as well now
Lots of hoeing done today, plus some seeds sown in the veg garden and a few plants moved about a bit.

Time for feet up Fairy, Dove & MrsGarden
What - Marlon Brando Dove?
There is a garden - and I use the term advisedly - across the road from me MrsG. Every time the wind blows....
That's a lot of Hordeum jubatums ....
Not sure what I'll get done tomorrow as it's to be wet here. Will see. Anything to avoid ironing and housework....
