Just shut GH door. Ran the gauntlet under the apple tree image plenty of windfalls now.

H moved wheelie bins and metal bench into garage..bench not bins in garage. I never did finish reading Eats shoots and leaves.

Time to make start with the brisket pot roast.

KEF have you done brisket in a slow cooker? I got one recently and the girls asked if I could do that in it. Presumed I could.

Fairy I don't have a slow cooker. I'm doing it my Le Crueset casserole pot. Means I can have the oven on very low, it warms the kitchen, and I can wrap some of the veg in foil and put it in the oven. Carrots & the leeks sprinked with cayenne pepper in oven. Sprouting broc' in steamer and I might do roast spuds & parsnip. That will mean I've had my 5 a day as I had a glass of juice this morning.image

Stacey recipe sounds interesting & your meal sounding very nice, no pudding here, but do have icecream in freezer. Bought it for when I do actually make an apple pie. However, icecream and Maltesers not safe in this house when I go on an evening prowl.image

  • No sorry  mrsgarden I said i couldn't sed it, but I agreed with you on you comment earlier and that no I didn't.  If that makes sense now lol.I'm

m doing slow cook today-beef bourguignon. Fairy i'm sure you could do almost anythingin it. Use  it just like a ccasserole dish. Look up on the web for slow cooker recipes,  you're sure  to find something there. Whs have slow cook books and so does a shop called The Works if you have one near you.

Ah. I've done it in a roasting tray but I've a couple of le Creusets. Never though of using them for that. Not sure what I'm having tonight but it'll have to be something comforting!

No chance of gardening here today- horrible outside. Curtain making and ironing for me.
