Evening all. Been busy inside and out - horrific rain with thunder this afternoon and on/off this morning too. Been painting ceilings when it was too wet to carry on outside.

I think you should go for a different look altogether Verd. How about a giant gnome?...image

I will go and catch up with all the posts before I fall asleep as I've been awake since 6 image

Did I miss that nice cake too?...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Verdun, I think a nice big miscanthus varigatus would compliment your border delightfully - I can split mine if you wish. image image Fairy, I think verdun's style would be more a lady holding an urn than a gnome but can just see both side by side imageimage

Am i too late for cake?  Comfort eating as a result of the footieimage.

Loved Corfu Stacey - have a fab time.  We swam in crystal clear coves, ate loads, and saw dolphins.  Also went riding - prob at the same place as OLimage.  Saw tortoises basking on the paths in the sun.

Lots of plants potted on, raspberry canes planted, sunny, but wind still wild.  Not looking forward to next week - Chicklet has 2 exams every day til week on Weds ....and we feel her painimage

The pressure has been up and down all day meaning I've been migraining all day too. Nothing seems to cut through a pressure headache now I can't have rum and coke!

I do love a good thunderstorm but really must insist either it comes or goes. Not keep nipping back like its not convinced it locked the door!
