Hi everyone! Sunny and cold here at the moment but I believe the weather may be changing, we will definitely be lighting the fire tonight image

Bought some Hostas (bare root) and Iris (I think they are bulbs) this morning, 99p in Aldi, got them home and no instructions image

Just planted all those excess Daffs I potted up in October in a lovely line along the path to my back gate.

Should be lovely when they come into flower image

Horrible day here, strong, gusty winds, tipping with rain, 3°. I think I'm having a day off, hardly done anything except deal with washing and have a long phone chat with a friend.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Lots of housework done today - everything clean and tidy image

Pam, it's so sad when that happens.  The body of a woman was found on our coast yesterday .... she had been reported missing from the city centre ................ image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I've planted 5 Allium Christophii & 5 Allium Pastel mixed. Found them in the shed, should have planted Aug to Dec. They were in my gardening book but must have missed that entry.image

    Garlic Solent White now showing.image

So many things in bud& flowering. Been lovely to explore as I can now walk on the lawn.image

Got a few pics to add to threads.

Below is for Lizzie, who started my buying frenzie when I joined the forum last Spring.image

How sad Pam. At least Dove's missing lady was missed by someone.

Feet up Lizzie and don't feel guilty in any way image

Any idea what kind of Iris Tracey? Best in a pot of gritty compost for now if you've no idea what they are. It's most likely to be a Dutch (summer flowering) type - they look like an onion- y bulb. I doubt they'd be selling the 'water lovers'. image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
