Come in for lunch. Been weeding the middle bed, but it got too hot in the sun so weeded some of big border instead as it has morning shade.

    Hi all.

Glad to see you back Stacey.

An amazing thing has happened this morning, the OH loves the garden, but does not do anything in it, she says there is no need as she has her own personal head gardener! Today however, she said she wanted to help, so we have got lots done.

How can you lie there and think of England

Roast pork and beef with all the trimmings went well, not alfresco but apres cake was so all ok in the end.

The second visitors left was time to plant a forgotten thingy kiwi blue and water evrything.

Hope you have all enjoyed your days - outside, inside or battery rechargingimage.

Got loads done here - 3 day weekends should be the normimage.  Roses all fed - and looking particularly healthy this year - my groups of 3 now finally look like they are one large bush.  sweetpeas in the ground, and problem weedy area sorted.  Turned a blind eye to little oak trees - previous 2 days assault was enough for now.

Littlest chicklet retrieved from her rucksack laden plod - v tired, but had some laughs along the wayimage.  Has now been reunited with her phone ..... all is well with the world

Have weeded over half the middle bed and some of the big bed which I'm going to call the long bed from now on. It's 20m long and nearly 2m deep. No sign of the echinaceas and Geranium Ann Folkard seems to have disappeared too image
