I was on the verge if contacting the police but the female neighbour is (was!) a friend, supposedly Anyway, it's over now they had just better not start tonight or will contact the relevant people. I just need to make sure the neighbours know that we weren't party to it!!
I need to go and get some plastic plant pot, my plants are all getting too big and I've run out
OL - unless you need them for something fancy, check out the recycling section of your GC for pots for free - ours always has a great selection of sizes if you don't mind black plastic ones
Feeling a lot better FG thanks just heading out daughter taken me and the wife away for a run in the car and stop for something to eat looking forward to it.
Thanks Chicky, I might try that, I don't need anything fancy, it's only for veg (aubergines, chillies etc). I do visit the bargain corner regularly at our local GC but have never seen any pots but will check.
Have a nice day Andy.
I wanted to get in the garden but am feeling very sleepy
Back from my camping, and what a fab time I had Perfect to recharge myself! Thanks for your concerns re Friday night, it was freezing (shivering smiley). We were very lucky with daytime weather though as was sunny Sat and baking today Best thing was no rain.
Have returned to a slightly dehydrated garden so have been out with the hose.
Only just got back from church and lunch. On the way back I saw a plant stall in a village square so I stopped. There were some French ladies selling plants, mostly herbs, and a young man, who turned out to be English selling lots of plants and lots of different sorts of foxgloves, perennial and biennial. So, of course, I bought a boxful. Variegated lemon thyme, a Blue Ensign pulmonaria (which I've wanted for some time), several different foxgloves, a pink hesperis, a purple phlox, acillea 'the Pearl' and a polemonium (mine died, but he said here it's best not in the sun, and deer don't eat it).
OH has left to see his family in England.
Must get out and weed that middle bed.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

FG Thought you had a wand have you changed it to gun going by your second last post.
Yes, Andy, fairy could give her wand a swish, and seal the hole.
Have a lovely day Lily at the christening.
