Thank you OL and MrsG. Its quite big so needs quite a bit to fill. Any ideas. Theres a hole already drilled in it, so can't be a water feature. Rather like the idea of a slightly taller plant at the back but no idea what.

Good morning all image  There was a frost on the cars and house roofs  up the hill when I got up but the temp in the back garden only dropped to 2C - it's quite sheltered at the back - but I'm glad the figs and gooseberries were fleeced up as they've got fruit on.

It looks as if today might be warmer than yesterday (it was perishing) so my fingers are very crossed image  I'm hoping to get lots done out there but I'm blowed if I'm going to freeze doing it image

Morning all, up early, unfortunately not to the sound of traffic on the Grand canal, and no walk to the little cafe for breakfast.

The frost in Sheffield yesterday morning has dmaged quite a few emerging plants, hopefully they will re-shoot.

Aiming to get more stuff in the ground today, and to pot on stuff in greenhouse which is growing fast.

Have a lovely day everyone, see you later.

Good Morning, dull here and 15c, but won't be greedy we had sun most of yesterday, so Dove and Lily can have some today.

Unusual pot Lily, would look good in my garden.

Soz to hear about plants Pdoc, it was a bad frost, I even fleeced my spud sacks.

MrsGarden hope your shoulders feel better today, hate to think they are too sore to carry new plants image

OL pleased that your team survived, our music in the garden yesterday was footie on radioimage

Hope all have a good day, outings, events, meals.

Think we are at M's gardening for some of today & then roast pork later.
