  • I think it'll be fine - give it some FB&B and keep OH under control - you could try moving it as Verdun says, but if it flowered there last year I don't see why it shouldn't flower there this year image

I dug up Poppy pattys plum, because it was sprouting and I remembered I dont like the muddy coloured flowers even if everyone else raves about it.  It fell apart and I potted the bits. 10 plants of pattys plum anyone?

I managed to stick a fork through one of the tree lilies, but I replanted it and I think it will survive. Weeded, and top dressed with FYM, thats their lot for this year.

That big pile of FYM isn't going down very fast.

Rack of lamb/roasties, cabbage and peas for dinner. Now some nice red wine.......

     Have a good evening folks.

Oooph, lots to catch up on. Must check my peonies. Leave em to die back, trim in spring. Full sun. Have been moved q a lot, and ok. Always remember not to plant deep, just into soil n they are usually ok. Only got 'normal' ones, must get others oh n mum got me one in her GH!

Had nice impromptu meal when visitors arrived just as starting eve meal, had enough so they stayed, went v well despite my limited culinary skills! Chatted n planned ski trip 2015!

Hope all ok, sorry not up to speed with everything but seems most have made most of a spring feeling day, glad yr home ok Stacey n Tracey had good family day.

Stacey put a small barrier of bricks at the edge of the lawn where P is. That stops mine mowing "at" plants. image

Stacey - no sign of peony shoots here - and i'm not worried about mine - give it a few more weeks.  Very first tulip nose poking through on my pots though - it'll all get properly going in a few weeks.  Glad you are home safe and sound.

And fidget - i am one of the ones who loves Patty's plumimage.  Any spares, let me know imageimageimage

    My peonies are still hiding.

  • My garden's too wet to walk down to where my peony  should be. If it drys out a bit more,  hopefully I can go down to have a look. I didn't get any flowers on mine last year,  does anybody know why this would happen.

Kef, sorry to hear the WUMS upset you, hope you're ok now. Don't let them get to you, they're not worth it. Wish my PMs worked. Will try to get them working on old laptop. Big hugs Kef x
