Fidget, they're lovely - especially the Harvington pink - I've never seen one with markings as strong as that. And I do love Mrs Ranicar - the other's a bit choice too
KEF, I've discovered what does my knee in - it's the sliding sideways to the window seat - from now on I'll sit on the aisle seat - fingers crossed
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Its been a lovely day here today, but still too wet to do much in the garden. I hacked back a few shrubs; I know it is called pruning, but the way I do it, it is hacking.
Then wasted some time taking photos and generally mooching around.
Tea to cook now, better see whats in the fridge.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Those are lovely, never had Hellebores (hope that's right!), are they what are otherwise known as Christmas Rose? I might have to invest in some for my new borders, which at the moment look VERY empty - or as son no. 1 said like a load of wasteland....thanks for that J!!
Day 4 done, only 3 left before my week off and snowdrop joy
Fidget, those are lovely flowers. I have some pretty baby ones that should flower next year. . . we'll just have to wait for me to post pics.
Tracey, you are right. Hellebores are also known as the Lenten Rose/ Christmas rose. You should def look to get some. They are one of my faves Any questions and Verd can usually answer. He is a bit of an authority
Verdun that is awful. We seldom even on main news see the extent of what is happening to others. We expect gales tonight but nothing like you are having. Stay safe inside our friend. Hope all is ok so to speak, in the morning.
If you want to chat later I'll be here, as will others.
