We have wild primrose in the garden lots small no flowers yet - one bigger with flowers, I sowed some seeds I collected in the green last year and they are very small plantlets planted up the train station garden

The criminals gap have been stealing fuel, absolutely disgusting but I believe in karma and they will get what is coming to them one day.

I feel for all the people in Somerset and anywhere really that is flooded. We have had more rain than is necessary or needed but nowhere near as bad as elsewhere in the country image

As for summer, well I think the one we had last year was 'our lot' for a few years. Or at least that's the way I feel at the moment, I hope I'm proved wrong.

Anyway, on a positive note, it was gone 5 and still just light tonight, that's 1 hour longer in just over a month image

Where is our new Philippine friend tonight then?

I knew I had some news......I have take all the glass out of my old greenhouse, just need to take the frame down now. It was easier than I thought and didn't cut me or break on me!!!

You're dead right fidget. It's a disgrace. We're now becoming a third world country and we're a laughing stock. That's my view anyway.

Philippa- isn't it sad that there are always some people who will take advantage of others' suffering? Of course, if the 'powers that be' hadn't spent so much time wringing their hands it might not be happening image

You'll need to have the car modified Verd. A gearstick unsuitable for doughnuts will definitely annoy you over time. It'll all end in tears....imageimage

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Gardengirl all the physical effort you put in I think add a bit of cheese to the buttie.

Hi Philippa, don't know if I've said hello before. image You will find that I am a sensible contributer to this thread, running a close second to Verdunimage  Just wait for comments image

Dove how (best say 'blinking' ) awful rats. Like Fidget says about time action/ help was provided.

Lizzie hardly dare mention older cars mine is and I don't want to tempt fate. Hope it can be sorted cheaply after all you had to pay out when it got bashed on the motorway.

Verdun , nice new black car image you'll have to wash it a lot, not jealouse at all...image

Have a good evening all image

Verdun, I am afraid I still am a poser, have the roof down on my 2 seater all the time, but also have the heated seats. They never had those when I was a lad.

Only problem as I mentioned before is that it is hopeless for getting anything garden related in. The boot is barely big enough for OHs handbag.

How can you lie there and think of England
