Dove, probably yes.....I think they are just covering themselves for all eventualities, I don't believe anything and prefer to just see if the cows are lying down in the field and when the sky is/isn't pink!!
I think it's just the check up for Mike today isn't it, to see if he can have the op on the 12th? Still not good and keeping everything crossed they can do the relevant tests today without messing him about too much
Fairy, I absolutely love seeing my babies popping up, it's so exciting Especially as this year is my first 'major' for wing year and I thought most of it would fail!! (Although there is of course still time!!).
KEF- You're meant to iron the clothes....is that how your ear is sore?.....
OL- the beauty of seeds is that, if some fail, you can usually stick a few more in and have another go!
I had to redo some of my tomatoes and basil as I used a different compost and it was just too heavy - they rotted. Never really had a problem before with seeds not germinating but that's gardening isn't it? Always learning.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairy, if only I'd thought at that before sowing them ALL!!! So far not many of the seeds have failed at all, I just have plants everywhere and am giving quite a few away
My trouble is that even making small batches the cakes never last that long! At least these are individually wrapped so I can't use the excuse "they'll do dry!"
I bake large amounts and freeze in individual pieces. Everything from quiche to chocolate cake! The freezer is my best friend
Thanks for the toms advice Dove and others. Will do the same
Thanks Lizzie, we're off to a place called Lambourne End, near Chigwell! Never been there before, but the kids will be doing some exciting activities and I'll get to put my feet up

Well remembered OL - fingers crossed for Mike that today goes well.

Morning all
Looks a bit miserable out at the moment. As I'm off camping this weekend I'm hoping it improves, and The Mail is right

KEF, hope the ear improves quickly.
Clari, after your week I'd have thought a quiet day at work would be ideal!
Hope everyone has a great day
Have a good Camp, Panda. Hope it's fine. Going anywhere pretty?
