Well I'm awake,  woke up at 12.00, can recommend Nytol, but not for a headache, luckily that has disappeared too.

Hosta, recently watched Colditz, was it filmed at your hotel ? image

I am sooooo excitedimage  Have just confirmed a booking to stay at a little b&b in Battle 12th to 15th of June.  My best friend will be joining me and we will be visiting Sittinghurst, Great Dixter, Pashley and Merriments (thanks for the recommendations) will also be craming in a visit to Harrogate and Rye if we can.  Was a spur of the moment thing and haven't even told hubby yet.  Is it wrong that I am looking forward to this more than two weeks in Kefalonia.

I would look forward to it more than Kefalonia, Yviestevie, how lovely! Harrogate? It's in Yorkshire! Rye is lovely, cobbled streets and beamy houses - the Mermaid Inn is full of character. It's all a one way system, find a car park and walk into the town up the hill. I wonder which B&B in Battle. The best one closed down some time ago.

I've actually done some gardening today, sunny.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Oops meant Hastings.  The B&B is called Chantlers, they only have three rooms, it receives a high score on booking.com even though it is a very reasonable price.  We weren't looking for anything fancy.

You got me a bit imageimageimageimageimage there Yvie with your place names and then Harrogate thrown in for good measure - lovely place to go but a bit far from the south coast for the day image. Thanks for clearing it up.

Reminded me of when I lived in York and my father got very miffed because he'd booked a last minute coach trip to Leeds castle and I wouldn't agree to drive over to meet him for tea. He enjoyed his day in Kent though.... image

    Hello all

Just adding my latest video of my allotment

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE3hkUrtDqQ

Also noticed today so must of been yesterday that 2 of my plant pot containers have been stolen my purple and pink pot from near front door, which is not nice was going to have some nice tulips come up in them and my pansy's on top in the same colours as the pots that I picked out nicely

Gg that's a real shameimage.  If you replace your pots make sure they're covered in some sort of slime/glue to teach the s-ds a lesson.  Your allotment looks huge and I applaud your efforts.  At least it wouldn't be easy to steal your palletsimage.

Yvie - what a treatimage.  I'd love to do something like that.  Enjoy every minute and take loads of pics to show us.  Good news that you don't have to drive as far as you first thoughtimage.

Topbirds you make me laugh about your Dad's coach tripimage  Dreadful daughterimage

Anyone had their haggis yet?  Not me - but the others haveimage

Think I will not bother putting any more pots out the front

Lesley good tip may well try that on the pots that are left out front, hope someone does not steal the pallets especially the shed ones measured and marked out to be used

Allotment is big 18 metres by 12 metres and one side 20 metres long, gets nice full sun which I hope will be good for growing veg and flowers as the veg patch at home is not in full sun mainly dappled shade,  I will get more digging done sometime not too well at mo

Dove think I will keep an eye out I expect someone took them for a gift or something - not nice really wanted to see the tulips come up

Hope you feel better soon Gg.  Do you have any help with your digging/building?  Don't wear yourself into a frazzle.
