Tracey.... Here is purple riot overwintered in my kitchen ( the fruits have dried in the plant) it's just putting on new growth and has its first lovely purple flower
Yes, fairy the more I think about it the more I want. Fortunately have got room for several down the end of garden. We back onto fields then woods (sorry to repeat myself) would look great down there.

If you've bought one of the red stemmed dogwoods lily, bend a branch over and pin it down to the ground. You'll have 2 next year

A big stand of them makes more of an impact lily - if you have the room.
