Hello all, having a houseful of guests means I'm not getting on laptop too often, seems a bit strange talking to 'real' people all the time.
Did manage a swim after class today and amazing how refreshed I felt afterwards, going to try and do it more often.
Running club tonight but it is still raining so not over keen on the idea, but got to start back properly sometime and can always have a nice warm shower after.
Garden VERY soggy, I do hope it stops raining soon, I was so hoping to get an early start on the garden this year.
Best wishes to all poorly people, hope to catch up later.

. Hi Everyone, had to rejoin after my iPad went to pot last week. Got a new "IT" tablet but when I downloaded everything again one of my email addresses plus this site was inaccessable for some reason. Been onto yahoo about email but after a few days of little help, I changed to Google...(never used Google b4) and still trying to work out this tablet as have always been used to Apple products (no idea where to try and upload pics at the mo)
Decided to rejoin here as a shortened version of my last: ClariceStarling67 and its now just clarice673.
Hi DD, weather is drastic here, just had a downpour of hailstones and the wind is howling and the garden is saturated, its also quite dark. i managed just 15 mins this morning in the garden, enough to turn over and cover one raised bed lol.
Off for a read and to see what everyone has been up to.
Wow, what a lot to catch up on . All that are unwell, a speedy recovery to each one. Hosta's, you have both been through the mill eh?! I do hope the rest of your holiday gets better soon as your having a time of it!!
Thanks before for your kind words Wonky (and to everyone else...too many to mention since I lost connection) andi do hope your toothache has been resolved AND that your Landlord has helped with the upstairs situation, it must be excruciating for you and hubby!!?
Verdun Congrats on little one..."I tried sending a poem the night you said she was born but ten mins in, I lost my iPad so I very much doubt it went through".
Pat, I hope you enjoy your grandsons visit and have a good old natter with late daughters hubby. I do wish you all the best and hope you are feeling on tip top soon. Hugs .
To everyone else...its a hi and hope all is good until I do a catch up.
Maybe we could get you up here for a weekend, Verdun? Barnsdale, Chatsworth, Bluebell arboretum, lots to see up here. You might need your thermal underwear though.
That sounds interesting Snow - do you know if there is a particular theme to the new garden? Several of the other 'gardens within a garden' at Barnsdale were themed to coincide with the various series of Gardeners World Geoff presented.
I love Barnsdale but have only been in the summer - not sure how much there would be to see in March - although if it's a fairly mild winter there should be lots popping up everywhere shouldn't there?
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I've just had a call from Wonky but she can hardly speak - she's still in a lot of pain from gum/ear infection and is off work waiting for the antibiotics to kick in. I've told her to put her lovely hub in charge and keep her head down and try to sleep through it until it eases. Bless
