  • Hello all, finished planting up my hanging baskets today and noticed near the pond 5 of the daffodils have heads forming which is good as they did not flower this year - still got bulbs to plant, also noticed a nasturtium still with leaves

Been doing a bit of cooking today they are still warm

no chance of getting me to Florida flumpy. We always go east rather than west.

Have you thought of Gt Yarmouth Hosta - that's east from you and there are some lovely sandy beaches - Winterton Dunes are famous image

  • Hello all, flying visit as busy watching SCD and have to get Charlie to bed in the break. image

Carol concert was a great success and the chateau looked beautiful with all the decorations. We were supposed to all wear black coats and red scarves with a Santa hat but it was 17 degrees so we opted for Christmas jumpers instead. image

Hope your holiday plans work out Hosta anf congratulations to Bizzie Lizzie on new home, sounds idyllic. image

I really like the lights on the hedge. It must be lovely to look out and see them in the late afternoon.

just realised that I haven't seen any posts from our friendly vet for a while. Has anyone heard how his renovation was going. I have a feeling that he was close to finishing.

Hi Panda. What a fun idea to have a snowman on your fingernail. Is that a hint to your OH that, that is the preferred finger to receive a nice new ring for Christmas?image

Hi Pat, just seen the news, hope everyone is ok in Melbourne, let's hope they get the fire out soon : (

Hi Flumpy. I've been watching the TV as well. The news is not very helpful. There is another serious fire near Ballarat and people being told to evacuate.   Also near Shepparton. I think the one near Kosciusko is being controlled.  There's not much else to expect with such high temperatures, unfortunately.  There is a cold wet change predicted, but often that just makes it harder for fire trucks to get in to slippery roads.  We are reliabling more and more on aerial fire retardant bombing,

Hubby has gone down to our fire shed this morning to test all the water pumps on the trucks in case they are needed.
