Just watched news. Worried for all our forkers in Ireland, Scotland & S.W. Plus anyone I've missed. All take care and stay safe.

In S. Yorks we are okay just now, but weather seems so unstable none of us know what to expect, seems best bet is to look out of the window.

Chicky, so hope you've got that tree down x

  • Certainly been a wet winter so far..... Verd yeah I liked astrania sunningdale for a while and seeing as I live near sunningdale!!!! I'm also investing in a euphorbia ascot rainbow!!!! Glad I got the pacific frost hellebore seeds it looks a stunner and will brighten the darkest recesses.....

  • Lol no they would be on opposite sides of the garden one in the woods ... Saying that I can only get pacific frost seeds so let's hope they grow!

Hi there - tree surgeon came round to look just before sun went down. As the earth around it isn't cracked he thinks it will be ok for a bit, but to be on safe side we are going to take the tops out of it and its companions (group of 3). That will keep us screened, but safer. Bad news is he can't come til next tues, so we have to survive the weekend gales. Went and had a look today and NDN and OH agree that if it falls it will most likely come down towards our grass (which won't do any damage) - because of the way its foliage is weighted. Anxious few days.

Fidget - so sorry for you and OH - difficult times. Thinking of you.
  • Oh chicky I will keep my fingers crossed for you......
