Good for you Pat - that must have taken some courage, and some time to rebuild your confidence in life
Up nice and early today, to make up for yesterday's frenzy
Glad to see DD has been accepted in the choir ......can't have her sitting around twiddling her thumbs can we. And what a lovely time of year to start. Is it a church choir, or one that sings modern songs ??
Morning Chicky, we are very modern from what I worked out last night. Apart from the Christmas Carols we did rehearse I Say a Little Prayer and the song book they used was called Acapella Pop. My OH did grumble a bit about me joining yet another cause.

chicky - DD was singing Aretha so I'm visualising a Sister Act choir now...
Edd and I were discussing Noggin the nog - the greatest animation ever - but Edd got sidetracked into other things... The animated characters in Noggin were based on the famous chess pieces discovered on Lewis many moons ago, thought to be Nordic. They are rather beautiful.
Pat - that must have been a huge undertaking having to start all over again. I'm guessing you had youth on your side, which must have helped a fair bit.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Verdun, you should know we do things differently down under!
Fairygirl, I was 34 at that time -a looonnng. time ago. Our eldest was 11 and she would be 52 now if the ovarian cancer hadn't got her. Not being morbid, just trying to say that we keep going whatever the situation, and I'm feeling sorry for those people affected by the floods. Not feeling sorry for myself.

Good morning, lovely mist out there wafting over the fields, doesn't seem too cold, but I am inside.
It's a tough old place Australia isn't it Pat, but very beautiful too. Be careful with those pots too.
Lizzie, you are very brave out there in this weather, well done, but don't peak too soon, May is a long way off yet.
Good day to all.

G'day Pat
All that shopping and pampering yesterday must've been tiring - I slept in this morning
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
