    Morning all.

Glorious sunny morning and not a breath of wind. I'm sure it's cold , but I've not ventured out.

No Spikeys for 2 nights so I reckon they're in hibernation mode.

I'm glad your son is home Runny, makes a big difference.

This morning ( what's left of it ) shall consist of packing and bathing then heading to the hotel near the airport.

I'll amend the last bit - it's not boring at all. We're watching Adele and Graham Norton. Very un-boring.

    2 weeks Lilyimage

Pat I watched Adele twice last night. OH's siesta lasted so long we didn't have dinner. I'd just about finished watching it when he got up , so watched it again.

OOO!  Exciting Hosta.  Have a great trip.  (Morning all (eventually))

Calm and sunny here (London) so I bet it's chilly out there too.  Hat and gloves and off up the hill I think.

    Hope all are OK image

    re sewing.

I have my mother's / grandmother's Singer machine. I have the receipt for it too.

It was bought on Feb 10th 1917 for the huge sum of £7 11shillings.

  • That would've been a huge investment back in those days Hosta!  Is it a treadle one?  I used to use my granny's treadle machine - wonder what Ma did with it image

yeah Dove the treadle type. I've still go the original instruction book and accessories in the original box.

I made all the curtains in my last house and also made maternity clothes for ex wife and clothes for my girls when they were small.
