Nothing wrong with a Gilmore pod Dove, helps to support the guitar! Floyd were amazing when I saw them on the Dark side of the moon anniversary tour! still not as amazing as Prince tho...and no pod there!
Gonna catch up on iPlayer, thanks Fairy and Pdoc for the heads up!
What's all this rotten weather talk? Sunny with good washing drying weather here in Suffolk! Sat at the picnic bench in the garden with Flatters sprawled on my lap having had an outside tidyup....just a little one.
Used to love cross stitch Yvie .... Is yours a Christmas design? Or is Christmas just a handy deadline?
Got back from hospital yesterday evening, reassured that all is well. Only 3 and a bit more weeks to get thru til the last op. Might need to adapt an advent calendar (with chocolates) to get me through.
Much wind overnight here too ....will go and have a wander in a bit to see if anything moved.
That's no sad thing Doc, the gig I saw was incomplete, no Roger Waters..,,mind you didn't miss his ego! still incredible gig! I took papa womble who didn't get into Floyd first time round!
Very blustery here but at least the rain seems to have blown through. Can hear somebody cutting their lawn - definitely isn't me - have I ever mentioned how much I hate gardening when it's windy? - the weeds / prunings never end up where you throw them and plant pots / buckets / watering cans get blown all round the garden.
Hope nobody has sustained too much damage in this weekend's weather & P'doc's stream doesn't rise too much more. I'd love a stream in the garden but can see that it could be a mixed blessing.
I don't think I wished Mr & Mrs Chicky well yesterday which was very remiss. A worrying period for you both - hope all goes well.
Am working up to phoning a friend who I haven't spoken to for a while. She is quite hard work - will tell me all her woes & not ask once how things are for me - and the call will last a minimum of an hour so have to time it after I've visited the bathroom and with a cuppa next to me...
Sounds mean to talk like that and we've seen some ups and downs together so wouldn't want to lose touch. Am fond of her really - just need to manage the situation (a mutual friend does exactly the same which makes me feel better).
Have a good day folks - see in the paper that nicely browned toast and crispy, crunchy, golden roasties are the latest 'devils food' for giving you cancer. Isn't it amazing we've all got this far?
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
T'bird - the food police really need a kick in the doodahs don't they? Whatever happened to common sense....oh yes, I forgot, that gets removed at birth now ...
Re your friend - my sister's like that - an hour would be getting off lightly! Managing it is tricky - I just do the same as you - get to the loo, and have a cuppa handy!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Wonky, sadly that ages me, as I saw them on the original Dark side of the moon tour.

Morning Chicky, glad everything is going well with Mr! Maybe just a year round advent calendar? Christmas does start earlier each year after all!

We've got a friend who never gives up on a phone call.
" I need to go for a bath"
"I'm getting undressed now for my bath"
Right, I'm actually in the bath now"
etc etc
... but if I phone her now I might need to make lunch first as well ...

Not out on the hills today Fairy? - wonder why? - log fire & some more choccie cake sounds good doesn't it?
Ooops - hello Hosta - maybe I could combine it with a good soak - that's a good idea actually
