  • I hung washing out yesterday before we went hospital visiting and as it was well after dark by the time we got back we left if out - however it's clouding over now and the forecast is for rain  - think I might send OH out with the linen basket - he's going to be dressed before I am image

  • Good, ( ironically speaking), morning... horrid weather here and HW to look forward to. Friend staying over on New Year's Eve ( officially designated as NYE from now on to reduce the typing)  There's nothing like a TLA to help is there? Oh, what does that mean..." three letter abbreviation"!image

Lizzie - just looked up the Morville garden for you - it is actually called the Dower House. Its National Trust and open Wednesdays all year. If you are going to go i recommend the Katherine Swift books - they are beautifully written image

    Morning all.

    Thank you Chicky.

Going shopping, dog food, tissues etc.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • sorry Verd for your luck, or lack of it in "13. Better in "14, I am sure. My glass in the cold frame doesn't fit too well any more so is stored in stable. Cold frame only used for chrysanths so no probs. there yet. Is this going to be one of the mildest winters on record?

    Now there's tempting providence.

Not sure about mildest, but surely the windiest.  Sounds like we are about to lose our roof hereimage

Back again. Dark and wet here, windy but not too bad. Hope all is okay Chicky, I get very anxious about our roof when it's windy, we are needing a new one in the Spring image After the last storm we had to have repairs, luckily we know a good roofer who was very obliging and came quickly.

Verd, soz to hear about GH.

Going to visit Mum and go and get her shopping, can't expect her to come in this weather. Just hoping the list has been made. image Then a bit of HW and snuggle up on sofa and watch comedy things we have recorded over Christmas.

Easy meal tonight, chilli & salad, more salad than chilli for me as I've just put my jeans on and they've shrunk over the hols, I find they always shrink if you leave them too long in the wardrobe. imageimage
