Morning rush is on, luckily I'm so clean I don't have to use the bathroom until after spinning class
Got to stop at the D.I.Y centre after gym for a list of nicky-nacky things, filler, black screws, a gloss white kickboard, string etc. Then it's two days straight tiling. ..well it might take more than two days to complete but I only have that amount of time this side of the weekend, some appointments next week will really scupper progress
Back from the GPs, nothing they can do, may take 6 months to get better. I hate doctors! [ yes I know ]
Arrived back to find someone had chucked eggs at the kitchen window. Seeing as our drive is 50 yards from the road, unlikely to be random. Well they do say that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Modern GCs have become horrible, haven't they? I only go in for bargains and compost, everything else is bought over the internet.
Have a good day everyone, I am off to plot revenge.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Hope everyone is okay and poorlies start to feel better.
Steve, you might know, someone told me a tw*t was a pregnant goldfish.
Been feeling down lately as I had to let my 13 year old German Shepherd go three weeks ago but my family persuaded me to get a puppy so a labradoodle is coming in two weeks. I'm really looking forward to her arrival. My poor old dog couldn't go for walks anymore and showed no further interest in 'helping' me garden.
Pottie Pam so sorry to hear about your german shepherd, but if your new dog has a personality anything like my poodle, you'll feel better in no time. (Energy plus, and such a lovely personality).
punkdoc. I can't think what to suggest - makes my blood boil! does it do any good to tell the local police? Probably not, I suppose. God luck with it.
Pam I'm sorry to hear about your German Shepherd. Pets we lose leave such a large hole in our lives. Your labradoodle won't replace him/ her but will certainly perk you up if anything like ours.
What a pain Pdoc.
Just back from the hairdressers and feeling almost human again. Still lots of washing and drying to do so I'd better get on with it.
Back from Remembrance Service in village, embarrassingly late though as they held it at 10:00 rather than 11:00 as there was a big service in the main town at 11 and they didn't want to clash. Did stay for coffee and a chat for everyone at the end, nice atmosphere. Only a small village and so many names on the memorial, a lot from same families, very sad.
Punkdoc, very upsetting for you re. eggs, I would be so upset, surely an adult hasn't done that, it's just bizarre.
P.Pam. sorry about your dog, very sad, but a labradoodle sounds like fun, and it will certainly take your mind off your sadness.
Dove, hope you start feeling a bit better later.
Gardening Club this afternoon, have to go on my bike as OH has car. Still feeling a bit wobbly after running club last night, they made us do sprint practice. They obviously weren't listening when I said I am a long distance runner not a sprinter. Good for my stamina they said. Have another session tonight, hoping to be race fit for Sunday, doing a cross country race, only 10K but first one this season. Think I might need to do some carbo loading before then. To the uninitiated that means eating cake.
Also happy to report nearly () all the bulbs are in, only got 50 daffs to go, some of them not quite where originally planned, went for easier options, but they are at least in the ground.
Have a nice afternoon all, will bob in later if I am still alive after running club.

Hello all just got back from Rememberance Service at Village Church , special because we finally finished the new memorial garden last month
Yes the Garden centres hear have been taken over by Santers Elves and the attached Resturants always seem full , there is a rumour that they sell plants ?
Afternoon all, I'm back from nanna duty again. Tired but thinking about planting tulips as it's relatively dry out there. Ive read back but cant remember much. Loved the place name maps, made me chuckle. Garden's looking a bit windswept and untidy at the moment but not feeling like a big clear up. Fell over when fetching grandaughter from school yesterday, no serious damage just a few aches and pains. Felt very embarrassed, it was one of those trip and run falls, never mind probably provided quite a few mums at the school gate with a good giggle.
