Whew , another marathon read back.

    Good morning one and all.

Chicky, I'm so thrilled for you.

Many thanks to you all for your kind wishes. At least I now know what's wrong and we have a programme in place. It's " the not knowing" which was most frustrating.

Dull and damp here , overnight strong winds have gone.

    Doorbell woke me this morning

"who the heck is that , at this time of the night? " it was 9.30am oops.

Best of all. IT'S FRIDAY hurrah for the weekend.

    Have a good one.

    Devon.

How wonderfully Freudian LP. Made me laugh. No ice where we're going apart from a G&T.

Hi there everyone. I've gone to bed - stonkered from trying to keep conversations going. I'm not used to all this socialising; we lead a very quite life here. I must say I'm not usually in bed at 9.5m. Feels strange.

have thought about Bushman today, but can only hope he feels a little bit better.

Ill get back after I've read a bit more.image

Lilyp, the town is still called Alice Springs. It was just the sacred rock that got the name changed back to the aboriginal name. Bit of a sensitive issue for a while there.

Hosta we got woken up at 7.30 this morning, much to our disgust - people should understand that we are retired. The most annoying aspect is that this is the third time this woman with one of those young girlish voices has rung (from Victoria) and then says oh, have I rung the wrong number? And hangs up. The first time, 3days ago, she said oh who's speaking. I said I'm not telling you my name, you rang me, who are you trying to call? She hung up that time as well. This morning Hubby was sufficiently annoyed at being woken, that he did something clever with the phone and returned her call (don't ask me how he did it) and told her to stop ringing our number and to get her information correct. She hung up on him too!

Nothing like tennis elbow - it's a fungal infection (Tinea pedis, the same as 'ringworm' on the scalp).  Tends to be picked up in shared showers, which is why it's common in sporty types, which, sadly, I'm not any more.  But I haven't been in any of those for some time, so no idea where it came from.  Between toes.  Nuff said, I think, as some people will be having their elevenses.
