Ooooo - errrrrrrrr!!! That reminds me - I once had a colleague who started going to the same clothes shops as I did and buying and wearing identical clothes to the office as I did weird or what!!!
The manager had to have a word - told her it was a form of stalking and harassment (not good from a social worker ). She left shortly after in somewhat odd circumstances ............
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Just had a quick phone call from Wonky as she arrived home - she said the plumber's van was still in her driveway - not sure whether that's good or bad. She'll text me later to let me know what progress has been made. She's definitely looking forward to Fidget's Hen Party - think she needs an excuse to get sozzled without a hangover!

MRI scan was fine. No real delay so I pretty much went straight in.
Mercifully I only went "in" as far as nipples ( ish ) . Otherwise would have been hideously claustrophobic, but he gave me a little panic button if I wanted out and some very tinny classical music to listen to.
Still in chaos but have taken myself to the bedroom for a rest, thanks everyone for kind wishes you really are a lovely bunch!
Kitchen sink cupboard is done but not functioning, no taps as yet! and that is the only change! Electrician was a no show again! Hubby has brought down lots more furniture from top flat as he is feeling better due to lovely emergency gas man coming very late last night and plumber fixing radiators this morning bless him! The house is warm and a total mess but I have shut the door on it!
Fidget, bad luck! As if you don't have enough on! We will all make you forget at your hen party!
DD glad that they are looking after you and happy with your progress
Liri, what were the staff like at the home? Did you get the chance to talk to any or any residents? Glad your sister is coming to help you find what's right. Best of luck with it
Glad the scan wasn't to traumatic Hosta and you have company too...very nice
Gerti, thank you for your best wishes for hubby, its a horrible condition that causes red blood cells to be sickle shaped which block the passage of blood and therefore can cause strokes, the red blood cells have much shorter lifespan also and regenerate much slower, I feed him plenty of liver and spinach! we sadly lost our nephew to it 3 months ago, he was only 42 and they were like brothers as they are only 4 years apart, hubby was very shaken up. Unfortunately there is no cure so its about learning how to live with it, but as my hubby says, I'm a proper wife that protects the life out of him!
Sorry for the long post, don't know when I'll have another chance to bet on here again! Your all lovely and I really appreciate your supporters, it really helps keep me going! Along with the coffee....thanks Jo x
Talking of people copying: I had a German language teacher who copied my hair style including having it coloured the same, my friend pointed it out first (I'm some what blind to noticing most things that aren't related to an engine!) And I thought her just being daft.
Until several other people in the class mentioned it.
I promptly dyed it bright blue.
Another school, no vomit (hurrah!) Although they were so late in arriving that it made it quite the busy morning. Dentist was all well: apparently my wisdom tooth is still un-erupted. I don't like the idea of something in my mouth erupting.
I'm also not all that keen on a dentist that is so hand shake keen. I'm never keen on hand shakes but I know his hands are in peoples mouth all day (at least I was first in!)
Glad your scan was uneventful Hostfan. Your meal sounds very appealing: when can I come over?!
Working on my day off has really messed my brain. How can one day through everything out? I am most confused as to find no bake off on the television!
ooh you snuck in Wonky! I've read about sickle cell: it sounds an absolutely crippling disease during a crisis. What a lucky chap to have you there being a proper wife!
Hmm... mine has been in his shed all evening. Wonder if I should check he's okay.

Home now.
Hubby about to reheat leftovers from rather lovely food at weekend.
Chicken and apricot tagine and chicken jalfrezi. What's odd about that?
