    Sun is driving away the mist here, but there's a busy day in prospect; Mum had a fall last night and I shall be spending some time with her.  From what I can gather she's not done a lot of damage, thankfully.

    I spent the weekend helping son and DIL with their garden, in Dunnington near York.  We laid a circular lawn and removed vast quantities of weeds (though it's only made a small dent in the total quantity).  It's a long term project, and they have too many other interests as well as demanding jobs.  I've offered my weeding services again, since they're both good cooks and I get payment in kind...  image
