Morning everyone grey and damp down here ,so much for me taking 2 wks hols to sort and settle the garden down in readiness for autumn/winter. Ho hum ....will attempt to sort out the greenhouse instead, taking classic FM and a supply of coffee with me ( at least I'll keep dry). Later I hope to plant out some foxgloves and wallflowers, have a good day.
Thursday and Friday will be breezy with some sunny spells but also blustery showers, and temperatures a little below average. Saturday should be mostly dry and a touch warmer too.
This will probably sound pretentious, but I tend to read books that have won literary prizes in the last few years and then a few favourites , such as Iain Banks and David Mitchell.
Hope the wedding organisation keeps going well fidget.
Am off to the greenhouse to sow a few seeds.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Punkdoc, have a think about a kindle. There are lots of free books, but also you can get new books at the push of a button. Brilliant for holidays, you can take loads for the weight of less than a single paperback. The new Jack Reacher beckons....
Thanks for good wishes everyone. I hope the Doc can help me too. I'm fed up with it, now.
The daffodil was Ptolemy, I think, but can't find the label at the moment (can't be bothered digging around them, if I'm honest). There's another one almost open called Accent. Not as startling as that one, but once anyway.
best wishes to all for good weather for the various events - holidays, weddings, etc.
