    Good morning all.

    Hello garden galimage

MrsG just looked out, yes what a sky!!

Lizzie, never been knocked over before? I said that fasting diet wasn't good for you. Seriously hope you feel ok.

Gardening clubs, trips to foreign parts planned, Archie doing his loaf & fishes trick, Woody washing hands in sea, plants moved, ironing and so much activity. I've ordered new cushion floor for downstairs shower roomimageimage

Hair appointment at 11am and then delivering a few local cards. Would it look bad if I sat in hairdressers and finished writing them?

    All stay happy.

  • Good morning KEF & Panda - Nope not much in the way of a sunrise here this morning.

Evening all. What a day. I have been meeting with groups of GPs to discuss the problems that patients are telling us they have with access to services. Unfortunately the GPs seem to be saying that it is all your fault: for being ill at the wrong time, by trying to book an appointment during working hours, by wanting an appointment when you are not at work etc etc.

Oh dear image We really do try not to get ill at inconsiderate times (unless its Monday morning and we're 8 years old...) but there never seems to be enough doctors to go around! I have been trying to get a doctors appointment since August (ran out of tablets in September) and know that with the icy weather approaching it'll be little old ladies going over and the rise of chesty conditions meaning the poor GPs will be absolutely packed out. You can almost understand why A&E get a hammering with so many "coughs and colds" when lack of GP appointments + lack of common sense are combined image

After I posted this morning I went out to give the horses their horse nuts Archie bit Hannah who tried to bite Lena (the underdog/horse) who leapt forward onto me, I went flying and someone trod on my thigh. Been feeling bruised and sorry for myself all day. Thigh much better, although swollen but neck now hurts and is very stiff. Had horses here for 22 years and never been knocked over before.

Oh no! Are you okay? Hope its not feeling too uncomfortable today. Keep an eye on it x

Yesterday we suffered the first parking woes caused by yummy mummies from the school in the next street. Presumably there was a school nativity play going on as our tiny little street was Bedlam! I only just managed to squeeze between the gaps to get to our driveway (mainly because I knew my car wasn't going to come off worse if I slightly caught the cars blocking my drive / the pavement / anyone from safely seeing around the corner on the road - hey its fair game if you park in a foolish manner!) but my poor neighbour in his works van was unable to get within five streets from home (understandably not too impressed at not being able to use his own driveway) and couldn't get onto our driveway so he could at least unload his shopping. He said he tried putting traffic cones down once (as they have done directly outside the school) but the parents just moved them! Its a shame the school can't open up the nice huge tarmac playground for parking when they've events on but presumably health and safety would have a fit! image

  • Hello all, a bit gloomy here, except in my heart of course…image

Chicky, 2 of my all time Favourites. Great Dixter and Christo are at the top of my list of Gardens and their gardens, so FG is next best thing. Did you know he was CL's carer at the end of his life too, such love for the man and his works. CW has been chosen to do the M&G garden at Chelsea next year, so pencil in a wow and a gold for that one. He is a leader at the very vanguard of ideas and design. I think I have talked myself into joining your Soc.!

(How much is your annual fee, we are debating whether to go to the heady heights of £6 !)

  • well here is the photos from yesterday I had to wait 24hrs to post any photos of the tent company's request

well its nearly 24hrs so here we go warning this is very bright sorry I could convert to BW if you want but you would miss the plot
