    Thanks everyone for all the hugs. My daughter who lives in Moscow has been In London for treatment. Sadly it hasn't worked and she will ever only have one child. we are so so grateful for that miracle. She is a wonderful auntie.

    so, I went out and weeded all afternoon, cutback some overgrown cornus and fixed the fence!

    Hosta I do hope you get a cancellation have you tried acupuncture, helps me

    I'm glad chicklet is in Halls on campus, best place for the first year until she finds  her feet.

    Oh has had enough of making tomato chutney (about 20 jars). He's moved on to soup. 

    Recipe calls for 1kg of ripe tomatoes, we've got, erm 8 kg.

    Have I grown too many?

    I don't think you can ever have too many homegrown toms - even if they are just frozen for pizza and pasta toppings they taste so much better than anything bought inimage

    hugs LilyP - a difficult one.  Cherish mini LilyP even more, if thats possible.

    rained ALL day - think the garden is well watered now.  Can we have the sun back now pleaseimage

    A thought Hosata - lots of lovely bruschetta  image

    I've had a productive afternoon - cleaned all the inside of the (MOT on Tuesday)  cut the back and side grass, cleaned some pots and potted up some bits and pieces, and generally tidied up. Made chilli for dinner and about to have that  image

    Then I might put my feet up  image
