BL - lots of mice / voles etc in the garden but none (touch wood!) in the house so far except those brought as gifts by Harry the Cat.

We do have bats in the loft though. As far as I know there are only a couple so they don't make too much mess - have never seen them - only a few droppings (definitely bat not mice - had that checked out). Love to watch the bats doing acrobatics in the evenings. Once had a bat decide the furled parasol was a good place to crawl into to sleep away the day. Don't know who got more of a shock when I opened it.

Pauline - sorry - we might be one of those addresses. We have a house sign but it's often hidden behind the car image

DD - Have decided I really fancy your dinner menu - would you have room for one more? imageimage

Pauline i sympathise with your oh as i deliver for a builders merchant. People seem to think the postcode is a magic wand. Its ok in towns but once your in the country a postcode can cover a large area, and some of the directions ive been given were hilarious.

Rain o/n here in NW London - now very humid (blight weather?) and needing a thunderstorm.

Speaking of thunderstorms, OH in Belgium drew my attention to this site last night - I could watch it for hours!

Glad the scan is done Lily, hope you rewarded your bravery with cake! Sounds likes sensible family not wanting to give you additional worries, more cake perhaps?

Day two of feeling a bit wobbly about new job and house move image keeping busy by making birthday cake......Three DJ's with a birthday on the same day?!?! I may want to move earlier than I thought! image

    Have a good day all

What a lovely photo of Sid!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Our road is like that Pauline image - but it's only half a mile long / no through road / houses only on one side / usually lots of dog walkers about to ask - so not as bad as some

Jo - I think Harry and Sid might be brothers...
