Hi All, well I'm a bit miffed at basically losing a day, but it doesn't happen very often and I am off all week so will make up for time lost today.  Head is fine Lily, the hangover had gone by one-ish after I had a nap!!  I'm just shattered, it's not funny when your body wants to get up at normal time and you've only had 3 hours sleep!!!

Anyway, tonight's news is, I have 3 Belfast sinks, they all need a good clean and have cracks in, although not all the way through, and a few chips.  This means I probably won't be able to use any of them to make a little pond but never mind.  For £5 for all 3 I still think I got a bargain image

Pic below of one of them, as I said they all need cleaning which is one of tomorrow's jobs.

KEF, it's not good when your team loses, I know that feeling too well at the moment!!! image

MrsG,  my hydranda panicuwhatsit still looks like a dead stick, although there is one teeny tiny shoot off of one branch twig thingimage

Hope you had a nice day out.

Well hopefully the pics tomorrow will be better when they are cleaned and going to the GC to get alpines in the morning image I'm quite surprised how pleased OH is with them, but he likes a bargain more than me, if that's possible image

A good day in the garden - planting and sowing and moving pots and watching the birds and gazing into the pond and pootling just like Pdocimage

Oh, and I squidged another lily beetle image

Lily, my hydrangea P.  is also a dead stick, but not given up entirely, still green to the scratch test! it's now been swamped by an aquilegia so may not get to see much sunlight!image

Sinks will plant up nicely OL. yep, another envious one here.

Now just to let you all know - I counted 8 not 7 plants that KEF bought!  I got half as many (and moaned a lot about money holding me back), but got two fab freebies courtesy of jardin a la kef. Gunnera which I've done my best to make a moist place for, planted in a shower curtain (don't ask!), so excited about it. And also some Chinese lanterns, physalis, so looking forward to them as well. image

OH put new fence post in,(wind damage) only trampling one tiny shoot, so not bad. I had the job of painting - don't think I'll get that job again!image

Lots of other bits n bobs done as well.
