Afternoon all, Have been busy today, visited mum this morning and then went with hubby for a hearing test, took us ages driving round Wolverhampton to try and find the place but eventually got it all sorted. Then had to pop to Merry Hell to do a bit of Holiday shopping.
Now I've just sat down to watch the Djokovic match. Looks like a good semi final, Murray and Federer.
I'm itching to sow some biannual seeds but can't do it until I return from hols. It's so odd to have the greenhouse empty.
Sorry to hear about your agastache Verdun. Mine have just started flowering. They should look much better next year when they have filled out a little. Haven't had time to do any gardening over the past few days but hopefully will get out there for a while tomorrow morning.
Clari, my 2 year old grandaughter loves watching Something Special a children's programme that uses Makaton and she has picked up quite a bit of signing, she especially likes the sign for magic.
Off for a cuppa and a quick browse. Catch up with you all later.
It was a rather gloomy day today with spots of rain and poured later in the afternoon so instead of visiting Bressingham Gardens (we'll do that on Friday) we went to Norwich, which we liked, great market and lovely cathedral. Then had a quick look at a damp Southwold and saw my grandmother's old house which seems to be having major works done to it.
Look forward to meeting Dove tomorrow. Hope we aren't late, as we don't know how long it takes to get to places, relying on TomTom.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I'll be popping over to Southwold before meeting up with you - don't worry if you're a bit late - I'll wait for you - the roads are a bit windy around that way so take your time - there will probably be tractors coming around the bends on the wrong side of the road There are two pubs in the village - the one we're going to is down the dip beyond the east window of the church.
Keep a look out for this place https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heveningham_Hall It once belonged to English Heritage but is now in private ownership and has had millions spent on it realising the plans originally drawn up by Capability Brown.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all - dry and sunny here Hope it's a bit warmer than yesterday though
Tennis was good last night - apart from the Beeb in it's infinite wisdom deciding to delay showing the start of Andy's match, which meant I recorded the budget and no tennis There was a lot of grunting here believe me...
Hope Yvie enjoys the divine Miss M.
Have to go to work in a minute or three so have a good day and I'll catch up later
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Went to Ikea last night to buy some garden furniture we were taken with on our last visit. Well timed as the inlaws are coming over at the weekend so we might finally have enough seats for everyone! Now to check the weather report for a bbq... oh.
Good morning. Sunny start to the day here and will be visiting the local market. Hope there are some nice plants.
Fairy at least you have the consolation that Andy won. I should be home in time to watch his match with Federrer. That will probably be edge of the seat watching.

We are going to Southwold too before meeting you, Dove.
Blackbirds will be enjoying the rest of my blueberries while we are away, Verdun. They love them.
