money or ratbags Lily? Unfortunately they do seem to stick together don't they?
Kef - sure last time I looked the dicentra was almost invisible and now it's quite a bush with flower buds - sneaky! Might take lavender stoeches (didn't look up spelling, sorry) out of GH today.
Morning All, I've missed Dove but hope she has a lovely day out
The sun is shining here at the moment and I'm off after today, yippeeeeeee
I need to sort my sweet peas out sometime today, bigger sticks and more slug protection
Im not sure what Bill's pic is if I'm honest, it does look like a type of Orchid but not one I'm familiar with.....although I was looking at different varieties yesterday to add to my collection
Morning OL. Sweet peas Maybe you need to come at them with a triple prong attack - beer traps, grit and some frogs! I've not had problems with them here - yet, but I think the miles of gravel and timber they'd have to cross leaves them feeling like they've been on a rough grater! Once I do a lawn it might change as they'll have an easier route
Poke a few seeds directly into the ground next to the ones you've got as a backup.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I'm loving my bulbs Chicky, I have one pot fully open, one pot that will probably open some of them today and one pot will be a few more days, I had planted them thinking I would have a display all at the same time but am glad they haven't
Bulbs are such great value. I spent around £70 last year on approx 500 bulbs, mainly from an online bulb company. The crocus have all been terrific, loads of narcissus about to flower and I have alliums and Dutch Iris for later. Can't beat them for impact at this time of year.

Ooh yes, cabin night I won't be drinking much though as giving blood at 5.30 then a quick dash down for the party
Fairy, I missed your posts earlier re bulbs and slugs. I bought most of mine at the end of summer sale at B&Q and these tulips cost be £5 P&P from GW offer and I will definitely buy more if the offer is repeated this year. There were 12 of each varsity though and noticed this morning only 10 of one and 11 on the other 2 have come up, but never mind still lovely. As far as the slugs go, they haven't caused too much damage, there were just 2 baby ones so I grabbed the salt (I know....don't shout!), but did go out this morning and remove dead slugs and soil with salt on and washed it down with water afterwards!! I have been checking but not seen any before last night....maybe because I used the torch
Right, i to get my backside into gear and get some work done!!!

Morning all, lovely and sunny here, so lots to do.
Tulips are just starting to open.
My chaufeur will be picking me up later for the drive to the cabin, so anyone who wants a lift, let me know.
