Wahay. I've just had a male siskin on the niger seed feeder. image

First one for this garden. we don't expect to see them as there are not many conifers around(apart from the ubiquitous leylandii)

Mr and Mrs Mallard seem to have departed for their married quarters on the canal or river.

I'm hoping mine will too Tracey. No idea how long post will take. So used to most things being tracked these days I guess!

    Morning all

Dull, but very mild here, just watching a marauding gang of long tailed tits on the nut feeder, must be a dozen, they are so funny.

Feeling very sore after last few days in the garden, so an easy day planned, probably some horizontal weeding.

Have a good day everyone, especially the workers.

    Good late morning all.

Bit cold to sleep in the garden PD image (enjot the weeding though!)

I think I've saved the cannas but not sure yet, they are quite damp so have removed the worst bits, roots seem ok just the bulby bits.image

Taken cuttings from margarete, which is usually dead by now, nothing to loose AND it's started flowering again! Cuttings now snuggling on the window sill alongside the brugmansia from FB (still just looking like a stick Fb is it ok?).

Hope you're all well, esp lilys friend.

Cheeky and Grumpy arguing about which will flower first!

The name of the little pink flowers is driving me mad, cant find the label but quite a long word beginning with 'O' ! Anyone? It's my fave at the moment as it has flowered happily all through winter. image

Love the little statues Mrs Garden image Can't help with the flower name I'm afraid, maybe in a few years when I'm an expert image The only one I know beginning with O and quite long is Osteospermum and it isn't that image
