Cold and wet here [ and the weathers not much better ] May need to put the heating back on. OH is threatening to put gloves on.

Well done Mrs G., mine are not that advanced yet.

Despite the weather weeds are growing at a frightening speed, must get out there. I am plagued by Enchanters Nightshade and am really struggling to get on top of it. It is a shame it invades everything, as it has really pretty flowers.

OH cooking Thai chicken tonight, with a few beers and then the movie Birdman.

    Have a good one.

Lovely photo, Fritillary!  It's a long time since I made a daisy chain...

Lucky you with the Mecanopsis, Mrs G!  Mine are only seedlings, no flowers until next year at the earliest, I expect.  They have been running a trial of different Mecanopsis at Harlow Carr - was stunning when I saw it a couple of years ago.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Think I just became a serious gardener!

Up til now I have been throwing snails in a corner hoping the blackbirds get there in time.....

But I  just found an army mooching around behind my seedlings!

I stomped on every one! Take no prisoners!

    Grrrrrr! image
