    Morning all.

Well Panda if your group ever want a trip up north the museum will always be open for you! Not sure I'd like to do that car journey with a bus full of guides though.

Off to get the food supplies, resusi dolls the fire service are loaning us for the weekend as we do a basic first aid session with them, and of course filling the fire appliance with water for our morning water drill. Then its all steam ahead!

Next question. We now have regular visits from a pair of mallards. After demanding naked sunflower seed at the back door, she has a wander around on slug patrol. However she doesn't get as far as the veg patch. I bought cheap lidl beer yesterday for the slug pubs. OH says if the ducks get a taste for it ,we could get some funny landings. As it is, they come from the canal or river a couple of hundred yards away, between the two houses, over the garage, sharp left and land on the lawn, near the back door.

Do I fill up the slug pubs or not?

Perhaps you could cobble together a roof for the slug pubs using something like a flowerpot well secured with canes just above the ground.  Only a thought but would be better than witnessing the crash landingsimage

Hush Dove! I decided to ear the Taramasalata and tzatziki first, so the iced Chelsea isn't safe!!!! image

Did notice beautiful healthy peonies in red and pink about a foot and a half tall and nice and bushy for £7.49! Very sticky labels! Like Velcro! But I stood back and treated myself to seeds due to lack of available funds lol, worth a look tho folks! image

Stay away from my iced bun!!!! Grrrrr
