Morning Matt. Lighter in the mornings, and only just dark when i got home at 6.30 last night - wonderful. My first batch of seedlings are already going on the windowsill, and will start some more off this weekend. Feels like spring is here
Good morning all a glorious golden sunrise Yes, sweet pea seedlings on the window - more will be joining them soon, and I may try an early outdoor sowing of something or other? - I imagine that the soil's much warmer than it usually is at this time of year. I want to get a good row of parsley in - I use so much of it, a clump in the herb garden just isn't enough.
Some of the best fun I've ever had was when I was a volunteer supporting teenagers with severe and complex learning disabilities at a youth club giving them the chance to 'hang out' with each other and be 'cool' - providing the support they needed (and chaperoning) but without cramping their style or behaving like a parent or teacher. Exhausting work, but such fun
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Good Morning all. Hi Matt & Chicky lovely to lighter morning and nights
8c and dull just now, but only dropped to 5C overnight, soil will be warming nicely.
Food shopping this morning and then hopefully feeding some shrubs and top dressing pots of lilies. It won't be long before I start moaning about Lily beetles. This year I'm ready for them with my Provado ?? or whatever it's called.
I don't have the energy to do it any more Mattbeer but it was fun while I did it - and anyway - teenagers don't really want silver-haired ladies hanging out with them - now if I dyed some pink stripes into it ....

Good morning everyone. It's grey here and I'm waiting for bird food to be delivered.lots of gardening things to do. My body has only just recovered from last weekend's gardening. Little and often should be my mantra, but fitting it around work is the usual method..see you later folks.

Well done on no chocs Lily.
Where is Dove?
Cheers Verdun
Tracey hope you don't ache too much.
Have a good one everyone.
Thats lovely Dove. I wish I had the enthusiasm to do that. Direct Sowing does seem like a possibility at the moment.
The ground hasnt frozen once here this Winter so I guess it would be pretty easy with this lovely weather coming.
Hi Dove, didn't see you
