    Hi everyone,

Well I slept like a log last night, even had a lie in until 9.30.  I have 4.5tog quilt on bed all year.  In the summer I have a fan or a portable air con unit plugged in.  Often have window open in middle of winter and never ever have any heating on in the bedroom.

It's a bit of a funny day today, warm and cloudy with the odd bit of sunshine.  Been into town today to do a bit of shopping for mom.  On the way back took a wrong turn and ended up at Ashwoods GC.  Luckily no plants stuck to me but I did happen to get a couple of obelisks snagged on my cardi as I left. image  Can't possibly take them back now it would just be too embarrassing.

Not planning on any proper gardening today, think I need a bit of a rest after yesterday's marathon session.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

Bless you bekkie, you are a sweet natured girl image so many good deeds and always lovely warm words for us on here

Yvie, I know how you feel about marathon sessions, I've just retired from the garden and been at it since 8-ish. So much to do, we always have so much work at this time of year but we also love it. I would have continued but I was starting to feel ill.

I'll list my jobs done on the other forum but suffice to say, it clouded over and there was a brief sort of shower with fat rain drops and enough said

re visits to GCs, I take my time when perusing plants, I want to be sure I've looked and thought about it and made the right choices but also...I just love looking at plants. Nothing else does it quite the same way for me image

Microwave just dinged and I've got an early dinner as reward for all my work today image
