Well I slept like a log last night, even had a lie in until 9.30. I have 4.5tog quilt on bed all year. In the summer I have a fan or a portable air con unit plugged in. Often have window open in middle of winter and never ever have any heating on in the bedroom.
It's a bit of a funny day today, warm and cloudy with the odd bit of sunshine. Been into town today to do a bit of shopping for mom. On the way back took a wrong turn and ended up at Ashwoods GC. Luckily no plants stuck to me but I did happen to get a couple of obelisks snagged on my cardi as I left. Can't possibly take them back now it would just be too embarrassing.
Not planning on any proper gardening today, think I need a bit of a rest after yesterday's marathon session.
Took grandads dog out for a walk, even after 2 hours the mad thing is still bounding around! Im shattered!
Verdun, its very nice of you to take your friend to a garden centre, as someone who has to rely on others to take me to places, you dont know what a treat it is
GG, sorry youve got an infection, hope you feel better soon
SGL, hope you got on ok at the dentist
Jimmy, i hope your neighbour could see the cat and didnt think you were shouting at her!
Hope those flying have a safe journey
Keep at it winter, you will get it just right im sure
Hi Outdoor girl
Yvie, bet that has ruined your cardi, you will have to go shopping for a new one
My lovely neighbour has cut out alll the bits of conifer that the fence had grown into ...one less job
Bless you bekkie, you are a sweet natured girl so many good deeds and always lovely warm words for us on here
Yvie, I know how you feel about marathon sessions, I've just retired from the garden and been at it since 8-ish. So much to do, we always have so much work at this time of year but we also love it. I would have continued but I was starting to feel ill.
I'll list my jobs done on the other forum but suffice to say, it clouded over and there was a brief sort of shower with fat rain drops and enough said
re visits to GCs, I take my time when perusing plants, I want to be sure I've looked and thought about it and made the right choices but also...I just love looking at plants. Nothing else does it quite the same way for me
Microwave just dinged and I've got an early dinner as reward for all my work today
son gave me a dandelion today, one less to dig out, oh but not from my garden, bestie this on the job!
kef, I forgot to say, I have a pic of that special blue thing ( yes, that's itthe mecanopsis), how's yours doing? bet Pds is gorgeous. just gotta wait and see if it flowers!
its a no-go on pic thread for me atm
FG not seen you about but saw a pulsatilla today which reminded me of you ( moving it where you'd see it more)
