Bekkie, the acupuncturist said it was badly inflamed and that he shouldn't be going to work, but it's a 6 session course and it's often the 3rd session which is pivotal. If not relief by then, it's not going to work she said.

Dove, to me he's priceless. A right old pain the neck at times, but priceless.

Anyway, nobody else could put up with him, so I'm lumbered. image

    Morning all,

I didn't have a great nights sleep either, now feeling rather muggy.

Sun is shining another lovely day YAY!

Must get a wriggle on, off to dentist  image

  • Morning!

Looking like its going to be lovely day near the coast.

Just scared the daylights out my elderly neighbour. Standing at the kitchen window making a coffee and spotted the neighbourhood tomcat pawing at my freshly dug borders, away to have his morning constitutional. Threw open the door and loudly requested that he "remove himself post-haste and poop elsewhere"..looked round and spotted the old dear on her doorstep having a cuppa image

Anyhoo, got some potting on and planting to be getting on with.

    Have a good day.

Leaving from Bergerac this afternoon. DD, I imagine your OH's flight would be Limoges. KEF, I mentioned I was worried because of the air traffic controllers' strike, but it's been called off. I've mentioned the housesitter too. Must get my skates on, she's arriving in an hour.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Have a good trip Lizzie, you are right he is gong from Limoges. Just setting off now. Hoping to combine the pick - up with a festival in Limoges on Saturday, lots of nice French food on offer it seems. image

Just in for brunch, I've been at it since 8-ish

Gorgeous sunny day, good temps, light breeze

Have trimmed off all the mesh that was stapled to the pergola roof yesterday and remeshing fence panels for existing climbers now. Luckily, leaf buds are only just breaking on my Virginia creeper so I've kept losses to a minimum but it has to be done, old stuff was meh; new stuff is woot.

Still haven't planted a clematis yet image but I have at least half an idea of some PPPs. Lots left to do including relaying step, straightening border edges, improving soil (its a clay corner) and PLANTING...will I get any done today??? image

  • I love this thread! I lurk  and catch up on everyone's news. Also learn lots - would never have thought to water the potatoes (thanks HF1!)

Bit cool today so have to put on warmer clothing.
