Morning everyone. Off out into the garden in about 15 minutes. washing to put on first.image

Thanks Lesley. I do try to use both hands. Last nights shift wasn't too bad, not many bookings. So it was a case of cleaning things down and peeling 5 kg of parsnips.image

Good morning Fritillary image and everyone else when they appear image

Have to head into the city this morning to get my hair tidied ready for Pa's send off tomorrow, so no gardening until I get back from that image  I found it difficult to sleep last night as I was just too warm - is it time to get the summer duvet out or will winter return?

Morning allimage  Wouldn't switch to the summer duvet yet Dove - think the heatwave might be about to subside.

A friend from work is just having his garden "done" and I have been helping him with plant selections (mostly "ooooo, lovely, you've got  to have one of thoseimage").  Yesterday he turned up with 2x daniel deronda and 2x elsa spath clematis for me (he snuck them in to his nursery wholesale order as extras).  Whopping plantsimage I was so excited imageimageimage.  Other colleagues looked on a bit bemusedimage.  Now, to find ppp's for them ......

How lovely Chicky image  I have a Daniel D, purchased with vouchers as part of my retirement pressy - He gave us some lovely blooms last year - according to instructions he has been cut hard back (the winter after planting) so hopefully he'll put on a lot of growth now image
