Good morning all image  Just popping in on OH's laptop before I head for the dentist.  I've not even tried to turn my laptop back on yet - going to wait until OH has a moment to console me if it all goes wrong - he says he knows about the BIOS screen  I think it was Edd mentioned image  We just need to find a moment or three to do it.  I've been applying myself to my knitting finishing daughter's cardi now that I've got the neck shaping sorted - plus quite a few phonecalls about Pa - he's very frail now and it's been decided that he won't get out of bed to sit in his chair any more image  He's so weak he can hardly hold his upper body upright but bless him he leaned forward to pick something up and kept going forward and fell - he's not hurt but it just shows how frail he is.  He spends most of the day asleep anyway so he'll be fine in bed.  Ma sits with him holding his hand - she's told us that she met him recently and he's a lovely man and they're going to get married imageimageimage

Don't think we'll see the eclipse here - it's dull and overcast here image I remember the last eclipse (well the total one in 1999) - I was working in a medieval building housing an art gallery and Early Music Centre - my boss was a lovely lass from Adelaide and we went out into the courtyard with pinhole thingies and had a fantastic view of the eclipse and a few glasses of something alchofrolic image

Punkdoc - you'll have to learn to keep that new car of yours under control!!!  Sounds as if it might be a bit more exciting than you thought image

WOW. The mist here allows a perfect view of the sun without burning your eyballs out. I'll post some pics later. Half an hour 'til its peak.

Stand your ground girls and Don't let the B*****ds grind you down.  Charities really take advantage of their staff Clari, so you need to make sure you get adequate breaks.  Stay calm and make your case. I'm with you BM, revenge is a dish best served cold. Up the Workers.

Sunny and clear here so the eclipse should make an impact.

Plan to do some repotting and maybe dig out the root of that Escallonia if I feel up to it.
