    Good morning all image

Glad to hear your Mum's doing so well Verdun - stroke treatment can work wonders if you catch it early enough image  Hope she's soon home and comfortable again.

As for younger brothers ........... been there, and of course although I'm the eldest I'm the girl .... and it's a farming family ............ so although I'm good for doing the 'being there' stuff, if there's a decision to be made you can imagine who thinks that's his job!!!  Well, just lately it's been pointed out (not by me) that he needs to do an equal share of the running about and dashing to hospital in the middle of the night and on Christmas Day etc, and that decisions should be shared - there was a mini-explosion but the point has been taken, and I've done a bit of sitting back and letting him do more visiting etc.    Hopefully your brother will share a bit more of the day to day stuff now Verdun. image

I've just driven OH to work as he spent a while yesterday evening making a chalk board sign for the first of the local asparagus which will arrive at the Farm Shop this morning and he couldn't take it to work on his bike - we'll be having local asparagus for supper!!!

Mrs G - lovely garden image

And Hurrah!!!  At last the Saharan Sand has left us - the sun is shining and the skies are blue image I shall spend the day in the garden image

I'm glad your mum is getting better, verdun.

It's grey here, so I'm still under the duvet. I'm debating whether to get up and make porridge. New herb bed to make today before it rains.
