Verdun ((hugs)) not much I can say (been there) but good luck image

And good morning all image  I've been up ages but have been dealing with a load of emails.

Hazy skies here again, but mild and the sun's shining somewhere above that Saharan Dust.  Gardening again today image

As for daffodils - I take it you've all read Tulip Fever by Deborah Moggach?

Tulip Fever is well worth a read - based in the time when one tulip bulb was worth a real fortune http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/72872.Tulip_Fever

Oh Verd I hope you mum is okay and up to at least complaining how young the doctors look!

Very foggy in Sheffield at the moment (this side at least). On my way into work there was a broken down bus in everyone's way but when the driver called his depo to see if it would be okay for me to tow him to a place of safety (i.e. into a bus stop off the road about 100 yards away where he'd be safer with his lack of lights not to mention get the road flowing again) they said no its against company policy. I guess they're worried in case I claim my truck gets damaged since the world is so sue happy but I felt so sorry for the driver there getting pipped at by people who were having to wait and its not his fault. The queue on the other side of the road was at least two miles long and this was only at the "start" of rush hour!

    Keep safe everyone.

Hello, I'm lazy bones this morning, took one look outside and shut the curtains.

Verdun I am so sorry to hear about your Mum do hope it turns out not to have been a serious stroke. I know all are serious but I think you'll know what I mean.

Lily & Panda hope work better today.

Clari gotta admire you, offering to tow the bus & living for a month on that diet.

Not looked at daff link yet, at 20 pounds for a bulb I might not look.

BFN image  p.s. I don't think I'm any taller today image

Okay so that is quite unusual!!

KEF - I'd have offered to tow the bus had I not been on the diet! image It seemed silly having sat in the queue and seen how dangerous it was not to have offered to help (the truck is more than capable especially for such a short distance). I'm afraid I would never forgive myself for being one of those people that sit blindly in their cars oblivious to the world around them or stepping over little old ladies who have fallen over when shopping because I'm in a rush and I don't care that the poor paramedic is cold and tired and doing his best to comfort her.
