More flowers have opened today. It should be at the peak for when Kef comes on Tuesday. Sadly it will then die as it is monocarpic. I hope to have seeds though.
Had a lovely few hours at t'chicken place (Bank View Farm - I think it was Mrs. G. That told me of them) having a beginners guide to chicken husbandry. Proved a good refresher and amazingly I remembered most of it from baby sitting my neighbours hens many many years ago.
Measured up where we want the run to go - now we just need to build it! Partner has set me the challenge of moving a wheel barrow of soil a day so it may take a while as the area was once used as a dumping ground for the garden when they built the patio.
Wondering how I'm going to find time to look for a new job with the to do list that's being compiled for me!!
My garden is football and dog free. and yes I have a nice glass of Western Australian Cabernet sauvignon at hand. It brings to mind the trip I made with two old friends. It was the middle ones 50th. me being 4 months older ,and the youngest being 3 months younger. The three tarts tour of WA. One driving, and we booked lunch at Vasse Felix restaurant, overlooking the vineyard. When the wine waiter bought the bottle, we asked him to keep the cork,as it was lunch, and only two were drinking. He snorted with mirth. No we didn't need a cork, we finished lunch with a platter of cheeses on the balcony, overlooking the vines, just ripening ready for the harvest. We plan on doing it again at our 60th.

View from the oval window.
It looks like another plant that would look lovely in my garden, the big privet hedge would offset it nicely
No scent, I've just checked. But that could be because the tree lilies are pumping out enough for the whole garden.
That's fab Fidget and presumably football free? Delightful
I hope you've got a glass of something nice sat there
