Hello all. Was hoping to be outside today starting to dig up Cannas and dahlias. Sadly I have woken up feeling like death, not sure if its man flu [ a very serious disease] or a result of yesterdays vaccinations.

    Have a good day all.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

  • Oh dear punkdoc I'm sure you know it's going round ...... It's a computer virus lol what with u and verd with the runs you should both stay logged off! They reckon the storms will rival the 1987 ones.... But worrying as I am the witch in the woods!!

  • The Met Office warning for strong winds is in place on Sunday and Monday in North East England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

However, forecasters expect the entire country to suffer wet and windy conditions.

The poor weather comes just 10 days after Britain enjoyed a week of warm temperatures and sunshine. Last Thursday the mercury peaked at 30.2C in Kent, which is unusually high for the time of year.

  • Good morning all,

I've got my mask on this morning in case I catch one of your bugs. image Hope everyone feels better soon.

The weathermen are scaring us about the stroms over the weekend. This time last year we had floods everywhere.

Verdun, did you hear about the waxy stuff that's been washed up on our beaches? It has already killed a dog and made others very ill according to reports. Just be careful if you take your pooch onto the beach.

    Morning all.

Suppose Dove is at work now, know all about retiring, but still don't know what she does.

We're food shopping this morning. Helping with big charity concert this Saturday and will be cooking the veggie option and 2 pud, orange and almond cake. It's a Spanish theme.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
