Clari hugs to Reggie. I'm sure you'll live joking apart I hope you feel better tomorrow . Where's me chilli willies got to ? Hope Reggie hasn't had them
Panda, they look really nice just like that in the bag! glad you had a good day
Clari, you sound proper rough love, hope you feel better soon, hate to side with your OH, but you probably could do with a COUPLE of days off, and i dont mean doing paperwork!
Panda, they look lovely! I didn't realise snowdrops had a lovely scent until I had a blind friend. I had to pick her a bunch of snowdrops from under her hedge every time I went to visit. And planting nose-level baskets in her garden, I always had to choose the most scented pansies and violas - yellow are the best, btw...
Spent an unexpected couple of hours in the garden, when I found I could do some tidying and clearing from the paths. Didn't get in until 5.45 when it was nearly dark; it was just lovely to be out there, listening to the birds and looking at buds swelling, after so long.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Bekkie, the roses are ordered. I've gone for Claire Austin. They are a creamy white and should look good climbing up the black metal obelisks. They reach about 8ft which is just about right and have a lovely scent. Ive tried to insert photo but don't know if it will work.
What lovely snowdrops Panda! Really going to be gorgeous when they bulk up
And that rose is beautiful Yvie, actually that reminds me of a question to ask our most knowledgeable. ..can I take hardwood rose cuttings now? I'd really like to reproduce my roses for free
I've had a wee tipple this evening, I don't often indulge but I do like my Pimms in a pint glass and very very strong. Fruitilious!
So...I am reading what everyone's up to but phft then I forget
Posts
Edit: should read viridapice - lovely green markings on the petals
Would like to say, never really noticed a scent before, but I can now they are on a table opposite me
Lovely purchases Panda

From the sounds of it, Clari's got the chilli willies and should be wrapped up warm in bed/on the sofa KEF

Panda, did I give you snowdrops last year?
How did they do? I dug them up earlier than I usually do. I normally split them after they die down, and replant straight away.
