    MrsG hope event went well.image

Dove the 500 cals don't sound too brill, even with your touch.image Just couldn't do it.

Reminds me of Weight Watchers nil points soup that me and sister used to make . Courgette, onions, mushrooms and sod all else..with a stock cube and some garlic to allow for extra points at weekend. Good luck to all who are doing this 5/2 regieme. Think I'd rather skip a meal a day. image

I don't have many Christmas pressies to buy so not worrying yet. Nephew & niece get money as does God daughter, so only H & Mum to buy for.

Suppose I should get some cards but not in mood yet.

I should be worrying about all the decorating and indoor jobs that need doing, but sun did come out for an hour so "had" to go outside.

Happy my Hellebore winter bells is now flowering. Bit early but nice to see it.

    BFN.

I have agonized for years chopping my home grown onions for soups etc as my eyes sting and water like mad and even for over an hour afterwards.  I have now invested in a pair of onion goggles and they are brilliant.  They are a bit like glasses with a padding between the glasses and the skin so the vapour doesn't get onto the eyes.  I thought they were a bit expensive but wouldn't be without them now.

Goggles sound good Forester, I don't suffer too much these days as I don't pickle onions anymore, that used to be a killer, sunglasses etc. Guess you grow some great  & keen onions. image
