Morning all - won't it be lovely that it will be light til nearly 8 this evening .... Blissimage

Today i need to wash the reconstructed GH and organise everything inside so it is just like it was, but backwards, if you see what i mean (in its new home it makes sense for everything to be swapped, like a mirror image).

Had a dream about my Mum last night - funny how the old subconcious works.  She was on good form imageimageimage.

Did little posies for Mothers Day service this morning. Lots of my bellis daisies sown from seed last year, a few pansies and wallflowers (but wallflowers not quite out yet), lots of wild cowslips and Gypsophila and golden rod from the flowers. I put them all in a bowl, looked pretty, and 2 little boys gave them out at the service.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Everyone must be busy today. I've just got back from a concert OH was singing in with the local choir, in aid of research for eye diseases. There was a great tea afterwards made by the French ladies of the host choir.

Sun and 20° was forecast, but they were wrong, it was grey and cool and a bit drizzly this afternoon.

GH now washed and sparkly - plus half the "stuff" moved back in.  How does a GH get filled with so much "stuff" ???imageimage

Another lovely weekend, feeling a bit sunburntimage.  Plus i have been spoiled by the Chickletsimageimage  Lots of flowers around here now - i love simple daffs for the garden, but think the double fancies look great in a vase

HI everyone, bit of a hectic day with relaxing good company inbetween rushing about. Took mum to church and got our daffodil posies, sat in the church garden where dad's ashes are (1 year ago today we lost him). Set sat nav for wrong address to sister's, got there on time and had wonderful lunch. A few plants jumped all the way from her garden into my car, clever things! Got lost on way home (no battery in sat nav). More rushing about at home but think I'm done now.

The plants i 'stole' are pulmonaria, something called lords and ladies and a weigela.image

Glad you had a good day MrsG - anniversaries are hard.  Nice that you all managed to get together.
