Hello folks, pond dug, underlay going down - huge pile of topsoil stacked in a clamp - I'll never need to buy potting compost ever again from the looks of it!

New bed dug in the front garden, lawn turn lifted where there was a dip and some topsoil put in and turf laid again.  Good to have builders who like gardening - thing is they can paint the fence now or not for a couple of years - I've been out and bought fence paint - not in the budget but what the heck!!!  These things have to be done and if we leave it the honeysuckle and clematis will have grown too big and it'll be really complicated painting the fence!

I've also been out and bought some shingle and some pebbles and a few big stones for the 'beach'!  That way Hefty can paddle safely image

Tea and cake is now being eaten by the builders - then the pond liner will go in!!!

I see some of you have been playing silly-gardenersimage and changed your names - if I changed my name I wouldn't know who I was image  It's hard enough being Dove here and ******* on the cookery forum - and having a real name too ...............................

At 26 I get easily confused!!!

Hello everyone and sorry for the confusion, I thought if I kept my picture the same you would all know it was me image And if course my silly 'newbie' questions and comments will mean that you all know it's still me image

Punk, I'm with you in that, we are trying to be good during the week but with the odd glass of wine (or beer for OH), nit drinking at all when we know we have early start's (like for me tomorrow) and then at weekend eat/drink what we like but work hard at the gym.  Losing weight definitely gets harder the older you get, I think my metabolism stopped as soon as I got to 40!!!
