The Met Office thinks that 1st dec. is start of Winter. As has been indisputably established on this thread Autumn does not start until 1st November, and today is the very end of late Summer. Thank you everyone for going along with my foible.
Well the poor old celts had no fancy supermarket calendars to go by and they said Winter starts now. Must be that global warming thing has moved it to December 1st.
Well I've missed all the fun. Food shopping is such a chore but I did get some mini Baileys magnum- very yummy.
Pleased we have managed to make it to November and kept you happy WW.
Car has it's MOT tomorrow so fingers crossed please.
Ohhh and I've ordered a new phone which will arrive tomorrow. Hope it takes pics that are as good as my current one. So it will be a day playing with my new toy tomorrow
Pretty name Archie - happy birthday to your grandaughter
When we went to bed last night we checked outside as we always do, and there was Hefty Hedgehog drinking from the dish of fresh rainwater we top up every evening. Even if they don't eat much of the food we put out on they always seem to drink from that little dish.

Definitely a Chris Packham fan here too - I shall share my beer and cake with him
There's probably enough cake for everyone, and the beer's on draught so plenty there too
