Welcome to Mikey and Potters Looking forward to hearing about your gardening exploits.
We were told there wasn't going to be a frost here, but the air temp got down to -1.3C at some stage during the night but it's back up to 3.3 now and there's beautiful pink streaks across the sky. Hefty's been out and about and had his supper - he's a messy chap or chappess! We refer to him as a chap, but we don't know which he is really.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning Dove and all not as cold here this morning had a walk round my garden and two greenhouses everything fine. Hope to single out my cosmos seedlings tonight got two trays to do one red one white plus a tray of morning glory to do also so off to work busy day ahead have a good day all.
Morning - wet and warm here. The magnolia has turned slightly pinky brown, meaning yesterday's frost got it. However 2/3 rds of the flower buds yet to open, so they might still be ok. Think the fleece helped the Pieris escape. Tricky business this spring malarkey
Builders coming today to do some odd jobs and they're going to finish the pond off as well and put some new gravel boards in where we've raised the level of the garden with the soil we've removed! Then I can get on with some shrub planting.

Oooh, missed you there Chicky and Lily - good morning both of you sorry to hear about the rain Lily , but would you mind keeping it with you for the next couple of days, then the builders can get things done? Ta very much

Morning all. Shame about the magnolia chicky, lets hope the frost will go soon, who said spring is tricky was so right! Good Luck with the pond dove. Guests here tomorrow so the big clean up begins, slowly realising I think I will have to cook a recipe after all have a good day workers and all.
